Edgar Maritns exhibition The Time Machine exhibition http://www.thewappingprojectbankside.com/exhibitions/ (reviewed by Geoff Dyer in the Guardian Weekend 7 Sept 2011) reminded me of Gravings Docks Govan pictures I took in Glasgow in 1996-7. Aesthetics aside, I like the way they can show the history of technology. Compare & contrast:
